The building originally served as the headquarter of the owner’s geotechnical engineering consulting company in the 1990s. In addition to the offices for the

engineers, geologists and an open area for field technicians, the building had a state-of-the-art soil and rock mechanics laboratory and a partitioned

 “warehouse” space. The large lot of this free standing building, provided space to park containers behind the building for storage of soil samples and

equipment.

Since 2002, the has been leased to the Development Department of the Cheesecake Factory . The current lease expires at the end of February, 2013. The

Development Department consisted of primarily architects and construction professionals whose excellent design and construction of restaurants are well

known and widely acclaimed.

Because of the history of the two professional companies that occupied the building in the past 20+ years, it has evolved into a facility which is not only an
